Sale of a 62,950-Square-Foot Asset in Chattanooga

 

Chattanooga, TN — Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, announces the sale of Hurricane Creek located at 8644 E Brainerd Rd, a 62,590 square-foot multi-tenant neighborhood center. Matthews™ Senior Vice Presidents Kyle Stonis and Pierce Mayson and Associate Vice President Boris Shilkrot facilitated the transaction.

 

The property was sold by Southeast U.S Retail Fund, L.P., and purchased by Hurricane Creek Center LLC. Anchored by Publix, the region’s leading grocer, the neighborhood center offers essential shopping in Chattanooga’s rapidly growing East Brainerd corridor, with a strong presence since 2007 and consistent sales growth of 9.2% year-over-year since 2019. The center benefits from its proximity to outdoor recreation, a revitalized downtown, and a variety of restaurants and attractions.
