Hospitality Deal Trades in North Charleston

North Charleston, SC Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, completed the $12 million sale of a Courtyard by Marriott located at 2415 Mall Drive, Charleston, SC. Associate Ryan Sanchez and Associate Vice President Mitchell Glasson handled the transaction.

 

The property, featuring 123 rooms, is within 10 minutes of the Charleston International Airport and directly off of major interstate 26. Courtyard by Marriot has over 1,200 locations nationwide.

 

“While working over the downturn of the holidays, we met with the seller’s investment group to strategize their 2023 disposition strategy which led to us listing the Marriot property,” said Sanchez.

 

The buyer, a family office, bought the property to expand their portfolio to include Marriott-branded hotels. They plan to operate the property long-term and implement their own management team.
