Cory Rosenthal Joins Matthews as New York Market Leader

 

NEW YORK — Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, a commercial real estate investment services and technology firm, welcomed tenured commercial real estate executive Cory Rosenthal, DJ Johnston, Brock Emmetsberger, and several other top-producing agents. Rosenthal joins Matthews™ as the firm’s New York Market Leader and National Director of Multifamily. Johnston and Emmetsberger joined the firm as Executive Vice Presidents.

 

Utilizing his extensive background in business development and growth strategies, Rosenthal will head the recruitment efforts for Matthews’ New York City office and work alongside company leadership to expand brand presence throughout the region. In his role as National Director of Multifamily, Rosenthal aims to enhance the multifamily division’s national reach and agent count.

 

Rosenthal boasts two decades of New York commercial real estate experience. Prior to Matthews™, Rosenthal was the Chief Revenue Officer at B6 Real Estate Advisors, where he successfully managed the firm’s sales revenue pipeline while contributing to the growth of the company’s technology platform. Rosenthal also served as Chief Operating Officer of New York City Capital Markets at JLL. At the publicly traded brokerage, Rosenthal oversaw over 100 agents, analysts, and support staff. Other prominent positions include Senior Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield and Senior Vice President of Brokerage and Corporate Operations at Massey Knakal Realty Services.

 

Joining Rosenthal, Johnston, and Emmetsberger are Maria D’Angelo, Jermaine Pugh, Bobby Lawrence, Henry Hill, Will Cheng, and Jameson Hill.
