Together, Sonny and Jared have completed $2.9 billion in investment real estate assignments throughout 29 states across the U.S., with 67% being single-tenant net lease and 33% multi-tenant retail transactions. Ninety-three percent [93%] of their career transactions involved real estate located in the Southeast region of the U.S.
Sonny and his business partner bring their unique philosophy for cultivating client relationships to Matthews™: leading with a client-centric approach. It starts with gaining a clear understanding of the client’s objectives. They then bring an advisory approach to meet those objectives, which may involve a strategic introduction, capital facilitation for a development program, guidance on repositioning an asset, lease marketability review, or simply tailoring a marketing strategy before bringing an asset to market. Their client’s objectives drive their motivations. They relish each opportunity to consult with their clients and do so daily.
Before joining Matthews™, Sonny was affiliated with Marcus & Millichap, where he began his career and was most recently elevated to Senior Managing Director and Senior Director within the firm’s National Retail Group.
