Prior to joining Matthews™, Scott founded SPL Realty Partners in Los Angeles, where he advised global brands and entertainment concepts on their real estate strategies. He was also a partner in GVA Williams, which was sold to Colliers in 2008. His impressive past and present client roster includes notable names such as City Winery, Equinox Fitness, Hilton, Lorna Jane, Johnny Was and Jean Dousset.
Scott held key positions in the industry, including head of U.S. real estate at NIO, where he directed network strategy and site selection for NIO Houses. Additionally, as a consultant at B. Riley Financial, he managed retail real estate portfolios and negotiated lease restructurings, saving clients over $4 million. Early in his career her held roles at Blinds to Go, Blockbuster Video and RKF, where he represented various brands in their U.S. real estate strategies.
