Rosie Cooper is a distinguished real estate professional with over 20 years of expertise in the acquisition and disposition of residential developments, focusing on maximizing value through strategic insights and a comprehensive understanding of development, construction, and engineering. She has successfully overseen more than $1.9 billion in multifamily projects across the western United States, leveraging her ability to identify hidden opportunities and optimize property value through a deep knowledge of entitlements, highest and best use analysis, and capital deployment strategies.
Before joining Matthews™, Rosie held several prominent roles, including executive vice president and regional managing partner at JPI. In these roles, she managed every stage of multifamily development, from site selection and development through design management, construction, asset management, capital markets, and final disposition. Rosie’s career also includes with key management roles at CBRE, MKS Residential, BRE Properties, The Koman Group, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Rosie began her career as a civil engineering office in the United States Air Force.
