Marko Buljan serves as an Associate Vice President – Shopping Centers of Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™. Bringing almost a decade of experience in the industry, Marko advises his clients on buying, selling, and leasing shopping centers throughout California and the United States. His clients include real estate investors, developers, and companies whom he helps generate and preserve wealth through thoughtful and calculated commercial real estate investments. His hands-on approach and attention to detail ensure that all his projects create lasting impacts for investors, tenants, and community members.
Marko has been fortunate enough to sell and lease some of the Bay Area’s most sought-after shopping centers. His most notable transactions include El Gato Village in Los Gatos, CA, for $36 million (2022), Strawflower Village in Half Moon Bay, CA, for $34 million (2023), and a 25-year Safeway lease extension in San Mateo, CA (2024). Marko has represented landlords in lease transactions with tenants such as T-Mobile, AT&T, Starbucks, Chase Bank, Wells Fargo, US Bank, Anderson Bakery, Nob Hill Foods, CVS, and many others.
In his free time, Marko enjoys traveling to Croatia, watching the Warriors, and finding the next best local restaurant.
