Based in Washington D.C., Ed brings over 20 years of experience in the industry. He has closed over 200 transactions totaling more than $1 billion. Known for his market insight, strategic acumen, and client-first approach, Ed leverages his deep industry experience to deliver exceptional outcomes for his clients.
Before joining Matthews™, Ed worked as vice president of the national net lease group & IPG in Washington D.C. for SRS. In addition, Ed was the president and founder of Urban Acre Investments, where he built a successful platform focused on urban retail developments and net lease retail properties. Under his leadership, the firm cultivated a reputation for delivering tailored investment strategies and maximizing value for clients.
Ed’s extensive career also includes serving as director of the investment services team at Colliers International, where he managed a diverse portfolio of retail assets, and overseeing the Special Asset Services Division at Marcus & Millichap in the Mid-Atlantic region.
