Chris Naylon is First Vice President at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™ specializing in the acquisition and disposition of net lease retail investment properties nationwide. Chris brings nearly two decades of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He has advised and worked with numerous clients in single property transactions, 1031 exchanges, sale-leaseback transactions, multi-property portfolio transactions, and build-to-suit development. Chris’ clients include developers, REITS, private equity firms, franchisees and operators, family offices, as well as private investors in the disposition or acquisition of single-tenant and multi-tenant commercial real estate properties across the country.  Throughout his career, Chris has facilitated transactions totaling over $500 million in total volume for his clients and continues to build relationships while helping investors meet their goals and objectives.   

 His commitment to excellence is evident in the successful completion of numerous transactions, showcasing his proficiency in navigating the complexities of commercial real estate deals.  Chris maintains a strong focus on the relationship aspect of this business with his clients, whom he now calls many of them friends. 

Before joining Matthews™, Chris started and owned a multi-family management and investment firm in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. In 2013, Chris joined Sands Investment Group and was a top listing agent and Sales Manager in their Los Angeles office.  

 When Chris is not working with clients, he spends his free time with his wife and children and can typically be found on the field coaching one of his four kids’ youth sports team in football, baseball, soccer, basketball or golf.
